Hybribio STD11 Real-time PCR kit is designed for in vitro detection of 11 sexually transmitted infections: CT, NG, UU, UP, MH, MG, HSV I, HSV II, TV, GV and CA using specimens from endocervical swabs, urethral swabs or urine samples.

It is based on a multiplex Real-time PCR technology to target pathogenic DNA, using specific sets of amplification primers and Internal Control (IC). Result is obtained by detection of a fluorescent signal given off from the TaqMan probe. Cellular Internal Control (IC) is included in each sample to monitor the whole testing process starting from DNA extraction to signal detection.
